I'm guessing that the bus might not be fast enough. The communication between cores is working via a really short bus, which is I have no idea how many bits. This CPU has 2 separate processing units each one with 2 cores. Why the hell I can't write a proper celsius degree? Forum should support WAAAAY more characters.ĮDIT: I have an idea. People just have different standards for cooling. In Precision X, I set the target framerate to 60 (not that it matters) and.

And the critical temparture of this card is officially 100C?, but if I think about the materials used by manufacturers and the technology, it can reach 150C? without a problem. EVGA Software Drivers and BIOS Power Meter Product Manuals Product Specs CPU. And the CPU never goes above 50C?.Īnd my old passive cooled 9600GT (which means it has no fan at all) was 90C? while playing and it was normal. Yes, it's hot, but the fan is reaching it's max RPM at 65, so while it spins up, this is normal. you should read them, then do some test flights with the performance loggerīeing switched on and do some maneuvers and shooting with the HUD being enabled for maybe 20-30 seconds thenĭisable the HUD and do the same.Click to expand.Core2Quad Q6600 (2,4Ghz) Interesting indeed ^^ though my only 'idea' is that you should report this over here.
EVGA PRECISION X FPS COUNTER BUG PATCH
The information may be valuable for the devs investigating these issues.ĭIsabling the HUD actually seems to help a lot in regards to the FPS drops - which is really weird I assumeĮdit: The smoothness is actually amazing! Please find a work around this! I can't wait for a patch D Player found out that disabling the HUD eliminated the performance problem(s) - however disabling the HUD ofc isn't a solution but

Just asking because a) i can't test this myself since i don't experience this issue and b) we've had similar issues in the past and some
EVGA PRECISION X FPS COUNTER BUG INSTALL
May help but imho it's not worth to install one of those just for this particular issue ) Reports) it should still be noticeable (i hope) - otherwise an external tool with overlay (like fraps, evga precision, msi afterburner etc) Unfortunately disabling the HUD will also hide the fps counter but since the differences in the fps are quite massive (according to the I assume this problem can be reproduced in test flights as well ?! would make it more easy (and less costly / lethal as well ^^) HUD again)) is bringing the FPS back to normal ?! Just out of curiosity - could you maybe test if disabling the HUD (by default this can be done by pressing alt+y (same to re-enable the Unfortunately i don't think that there has been a fix or workaround found yet =/ Though as far as i remember those players (there have been several threads about this issue) haven't said anything about generalįps issues so it seems to be a separate issue (though it would be cool if they'd be related ^^ killing two birds with one stone ) and This has indeed been reported by a few other players (and forwarded to the devs for reviewing - ) Maybe the problems are connected and you can help me fixing the gunners? I'veseen other people having this problem, but I couldn't find a solution. I was wondering: The FPS drops occur as well, when I take gunner position in a bomber and try to shoot in a dead angle. Try them both, they really do help from experience, my system specs Run as administrator for the command prompt, put either I read in one thread that there's a script for AMD users, but I couldn't find any further information in order to try it out. I also tried editing the config file, to force the use of DX11 to no effect.
EVGA PRECISION X FPS COUNTER BUG WINDOWS 8
I tried the fix for Windows 8 and 10 which included the bcdedit command. This has never been an issue until the release of the last patch or the one before that.
EVGA PRECISION X FPS COUNTER BUG MOVIE
It is unrelated to which map and plane is played and what graphic settings are set (low and movie - no difference in what concerns the drops). Aiming in dog fights becomes incredibly difficult. As far as I can tell they are related to many rounds being fired in the game the drops appear regardless of wether I am in a dogfight oder still climbing (and others are shooting). The ingame fps counter shows 20 fps but I am pretty sure it is below that. I hate to post myself into this forum but after digging through dozens of threads I still haven't found a solution to my problem
